West Dunbartonshire publishes housing emergency action plan

West Dunbartonshire is the latest of the ten councils that have declared housing emergencies, to publish an action plan. Argyll and Bute were first to make its declaration in June, 2023, followed by Edinburgh, Glasgow, Fife, West Dunbartonshire, Scottish Borders, West Lothian, South Lanarkshire, Angus and Dumfries and Galloway.

Argyle and Bute Council, the first to declare an emergency have a wealth of information on their website mapping progress since the declaration. Between them these two sets ofpublications give a good feel for the variation in the challenge and drivers across Scotland.
