Repairing Standard Statutory Guidance for Private Landlords

The Scottish Government published the updated Repairing Standard Statutory Guidance for Private Landlords 31st January 2024. They thanked everyone who provided valuable input during the draft stage.

It is noted that the main changes relate to sections on “Lead in Drinking Water” and “Installations for the supply of Electricity”.

Short Term Let hosts/operators are also required to meet the Repairing Standard.

The guidance incorporates all the elements of the Repairing Standard which private landlords are required to comply with from 1st March 2024
